How do I buy an original watercolor by Sarah Atalah?
Originals are sold from the gallery. Each is one-of-a-kind, hand-painted by Sarah on Fabriano cotton paper. When you buy, you receive the numbered, signed artwork with certificate of authenticity. Payment coordinated directly (bank transfer or Flow.cl). Shipping from Santiago to anywhere in Chile: 3-7 business days.
What are fine art reproductions and how do they differ from originals?
High-quality giclée prints on cotton paper with archival pigment inks (100+ year lifespan). Each numbered and hand-signed by Sarah. Up to 5 copies per size per piece, in four formats: 21×31, 31×41, 41×51 and 51×61 cm. Cost a fraction of the original.
Where are the classes and what do they cost?
In-person at Taller Agua de Colores in Las Condes, Santiago. Monday, Wednesday, Friday 17:00-20:00. Full month (4 × 2-hour classes): 80,000 CLP. Small groups with personal guidance. All levels welcome.
Does Sarah teach online?
Currently only in-person in Las Condes. The watercolor experience is best learned in person. Write to Sarah about occasional intensive workshops in other cities.
Can I commission a custom portrait or artwork?
Yes. Portraits of people, pets, landscapes from photos, custom compositions. Process: WhatsApp/email conversation to define size, technique and references. Timeline: 3-5 weeks from sketch approval. See the shop.
How is shipping and to which countries?
Chile: courier (Chilexpress or Starken), 3-7 business days. Each piece packaged with rigid protection. International: case-by-case, write before buying.
Does Sarah exhibit at international festivals?
Yes. Chile's Representative at Fabriano in Acquerello 2026 (Cerezas) and Urbino in Acquerello 2026 (Payaso) — the two most important watercolor festivals in the world, held in Italy. Member of the International Watercolor Museum.
Do you sell watercolor supplies?
Yes, in the shop: Fabriano cotton paper, natural hair brushes, artist grade pigment sets, beginner kits. Everything Sarah uses in her own work.
How long do artworks last and how do I care for them?
High-quality pigments on Fabriano 100% cotton paper. Reproductions use archival inks. With normal care (UV glass framing, away from direct sunlight and humidity) they last generations without fading. Bone white matting and museum-grade glass recommended.
Can I visit the studio?
